UV-Resistant Cable Wrap
Withstands Sunlight And Salt Spray
A line of UV-resistant polyethylene spiral wrap for bundling and protecting wires, cables, and hoses in harsh outdoor applications is available from M.M. Newman Corporation of Marblehead, Massachusetts.

Heli-Tube® UV-Resistant Black Polyethylene Spiral Wrap comes in seven sizes from 1/8" to 1 ½" O.D. for bundling and protecting wires, cables, and hoses anywhere outdoors. Simple to install by hand without tools, it eliminates the need for heat-shrinkable tubing and tape in many applications, dampens vibration, resists abrasion, and provides a neat, finished appearance.

Unaffected by direct sunlight, saltwater, fuels, oils, and detergents, Heli-Tube® UV-Resistant Black Polyethylene Spiral Wrap operates over a -105°F to 215°F range, conforms to ASTM Taber D 1044 for abrasion resistance, and meets Federal Spec. LP 390, MIL-I-631D, and MIL-P-26692.

Heli-Tube® Spirally Cut Cable Wrap features a precise angular cut which allows it to expand and wrap around a bundle of wires to neatly organize them while permitting breakouts in any direction. Providing protection against abrasion, with greater flexibility than wiring duct, this spiral wrap applies without tools and comes in a variety of materials and sizes.

Available in UV-resistant black polyethylene, polyethylene in colors, fire-resistant white and black polyethylene, natural and black nylon, and PTFE in natural and colors, Heli-Tube® Spirally Cut Cable Wrap can be supplied in seven sizes from 1/16" to 1 ½" O.D. for wire bundles up to 10" O.D.

Heli-Tube® Spiral Wrap is a plastic cable and wire wrap that fully complies with RoHS, a directive passed by the European Union to ban electrical and electronics equipment containing more than agreed levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated diphenyl (PBB) and polybrom-inated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants from July 1, 2006.

Available in sizes from 1/16" to 1 ½" O.D., Heli-Tube® Spiral Wrap is offered in several types of polyethylene, nylon, and PTFE. Featuring a precise angular cut which allows it to expand and wrap tightly, permitting wire breakouts in any direction, this spiral wrap bundles, organizes, and protects cables and wires in appliances, equipment, and instrumentation.

Heli-Tube® PTFE Spiral Wrap applies like tape to bundle and protect wiring from sparks on laser cutting, marking, and welding equipment. Highly flexible and abrasion resistant, this wrap is chemically inert, non-flammable, and operates over a -450°F to +500°F range.

Featuring seven sizes from 1/16" to 1-½" O.D., Heli-Tube® PTFE Spiral Wrap is suitable for use on bundles up to 10" O.D. and can be installed by OEMs or in the field; without requiring tools. Permitting breakouts in any orientation, it is UL recognized and meets MIL specs.

PTFE Spiral Wrap Prevents Chafing
A line of PTFE spiral wrap that can be installed over braided hydraulic hose for added protection where the potential for abrasion could cause leakage is available from M.M. Newman Corp. of Marblehead, Massachusetts.

Heli-Tube® PTFE Spiral Wrap applies like tape around braided hydraulic hoses to prevent chafing which can puncture the wall to cause leaks and equipment failure. Chemically inert and nonflammable, this PTFE wrap is available in a full range of sizes up to 1 ½" O.D. to fit over hoses or bundles up to 10" O.D. and can be installed by hand without tools.

Suitable for protecting hoses on aviation, off-road, and industrial equipment, Heli-Tube® PTFE Spiral Wrap is UL recognized and meets ASTM Spec. Taber D 1044 for abrasion resistance and MIL-I-22129C, P-22296B, and MIL-T-4728A Type 1 specifications. It operates from -450 F to +450 F.
